As we close out this calendar year, we're thinking about the choices we make that shape our lives and lead to our dreams becoming a reality. During our December group mentoring session, we explored our strongest and weakest decision areas, committed to actions that will improve our decision-making, and became accountability partners to each other. If you know a middle or high school girl who could use support making better decisions, invite her to join The Cocoon, an online community of women and girls working together to grow as leaders and achieve our dreams!

Action Plans Help Girls Achieve Their Goals

Last month our Cocoon Club members created powerful back-to-school vision boards. In November, they'll be working with their Leadership Coaches to execute their visions, using our Leadership Action Plan Tool. This tool helps girls break down their big goals into small, meaningful steps through a step-by-step planning process. If you know a middle or high school girl who could use help creating an action plan, invite her to join The Cocoon, an online community of women and girls working together to grow as leaders and achieve our dreams!

We begin Mental Health Awareness Month affirming the words of Maya Angelou's legendary poem, Still I Rise, and remembering that regardless of our circumstances, we always have the power within us to rise and thrive.

Our ability to access peace and power in the midst of life's storms often depends on our mental health, and just like with our physical health, improving our mental health requires commitment and consistency. This month's newsletter includes ideas, tools, and resources to help you lead with love, power, and a sound mind.
